| Specimen Required: | Patient Preparation:Timing of specimen collection: Pre-dose (trough) draw - At steady state concentration. Collect:Plain red. Also acceptable: Lavender (EDTA), pink (K2EDTA or K3EDTA), green (sodium or lithium heparin), or gray (sodium fluoride/potassium oxalate). Specimen Preparation:Separate serum or plasma from cells within 6 hours of collection. Transfer 2 mL serum to an RDL Standard Transport Tube. (Min: 0.5 mL) Storage/Transport Temperature:Refrigerated.
