Specimen Preparation:Thoroughly mix entire collection, then, perform one of the two processing options below:Option 1:Immediately after collection, adjust pH to 8-9 by adding 10 percent Na2CO3. Transfer 1 mL aliquot urine to an RDL Standard Transport Tube. (Min: 0.5 mL)Option 2: Immediately after collection, transfer a maximum of 4 mL urine to an RDL Standard Transport Tube prefilled with Sodium Carbonate (RDL)supply #48096).
