| Specimen Required: | Patient Preparation: Collect:Plain red or serum separator tube (SST). Specimen Preparation:Allow complete clotting of red blood cells (up to 1 hour), then separate serum from cells within 30 minutes and freeze immediately. Transfer TWO (2)1 mL aliquots of serum to individual RDL Standard Transport Tubes. (Min: 0.5 mL/aliquot) Storage/Transport Temperature:CRITICAL FROZEN. Separate specimens must be submitted when multiple tests are ordered.
