Collect:24-hour urine. Refrigerate during collection. Also acceptable: Random urine specimens and urine supernate.
Specimen Preparation:Transfer two 4 mL aliquots from a well-mixed 24-hour collection to individual RDL Standard Transport Tubes. (Min: 3 mL) Record total volume and collection time interval on transport tube and test request form.
Storage/Transport Temperature:Refrigerated.
Stability:Ambient: 2 hours; Refrigerated: 1 week; Frozen: Unacceptable
