Collect:Green (sodium or lithium heparin), lavender (EDTA), or pink (K2EDTA).
Specimen Preparation:Protect from light within one hour of collection and during storage and shipment. Transfer 3 mL whole blood to an RDL Amber Transport Tube. (Min: 0.6 mL)
Storage/Transport Temperature:CRITICAL FROZEN. Separate specimens must be submitted when multiple tests are ordered.
Stability:Ambient: Unacceptable; Refrigerated: 4 hours; Frozen: 6 months
