Specimen Preparation:Allow serum separator or plain red tube to sit for 15-20 minutes at room temperature for proper clot formation. Centrifuge and separate serum or plasma from cells ASAP or within 2 hours of collection. Transfer 1 mL serum or plasma to an RDL Standard Transport Tube.
