Collect:Serum separator tube (SST) or plain red.
Specimen Preparation:Do not refrigerate or freeze. Allow specimen to clot completely at room temperature. Separate serum from cells ASAP or within 2 hours of collection. Transfer 1 mL serum to an RDL Standard Transport Tube. (Min: 0.6 mL)
Storage/Transport Temperature:Room temperature.
Stability:After separation of cells: Ambient: 1 week; Refrigerated: Unacceptable; Frozen: Unacceptable
